Review a down-the-line swing
Record from a stable position with the full golfer and club movement in frame. Import the clip, find your setup frame, and draw a reference line for the checkpoint you want to examine. Step through the swing slowly and compare what you see. Camera placement changes apparent angles, so avoid treating a two-dimensional line as an exact three-dimensional measurement.
Compare practice sessions fairly
Choose clips recorded from similar positions and with similar framing. Open the side-by-side comparison and align the same part of the movement. Compare one checkpoint at a time, such as setup or follow-through. Use notes to record what you changed and what you want to test in the next session.
Prepare a clear clip for your coach
Select the useful part of a practice video and keep annotations focused on your question. Add a line or angle only where it clarifies the frame. Export the supported annotated image or video and check it before sharing. Include your question and recording angle so the coach has context.
